Reborn Among the Ruins

I’m reborn among the ruins,

where I walk and watch the waves

reverberate upon the sonic shore.

In the green wood there’s a gospel,

a sermon sung with ease,

beneath the wings of the birds forever flying.

When I rest my head upon the stone
